With the 346th pick in the 2019 Major League Baseball Draft, the Houston Astros have made Florida SouthWestern State righthander Ryan Gusto the highest Buccaneer draft pick since the program’s resurgence in 2016. Gusto was the 2017 World Series Champion’s 11th round choice.

After dismantling ASA Miami 14-2 in the first game of their split doubleheader, four FSW pitchers combined for the first perfect game in program history in game two in a 14-0 win over Elev8 Academy.
