Bio

Sophomore (2019-20): Cleary played at Florida Southern where the Mocs posted 29-2 record and a spot in the NCAA Tournament before its ultimate cancellation. He saw action in one contest, scoring 7 points and grabbing 7 rebounds before seeing his season come to an end with an injury.  

Freshman (2018-19): As a freshman Cleary played in 32 games, drawing 4 starts, and averaged 5 points and 3 rebounds per game for a 25 win Florida Southern squad.  During the summer of 2019, Cleary played for the Great Britain FIBA U20 team.  

High School: Prepped at Redemption Christian in New York where he averaged 21 points and 7 rebounds per game.  

Personal: Born March 8, 1999, he is the son of Lois Cleary and Simon Forster.  He has one sister, Teraya (24).

Bucs Come Up Short in State Semis

For the fourth time this season, the #25 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers and the #17 Indian River State Pioneers went head to head on the hardwood Friday night at the FCSAA State Tournament in Niceville. Also for the fourth time, the contest went down to the wire.  Unfortunately for FSW, it was Indian River squeaking out a 74-71 victory, ending the Bucs run at the tournament and putting them squarely on the bubble in their hopes for an at-large bid to the NJCAA National Tournament.

#17 FSW Cruises Past SCF For Southern Conference Win

After playing close for the first 20 minutes with the State College of Florida Manatees Saturday afternoon in Bradenton, the #17 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers stepped on the gas in the second half, eventually blowing away the Manatees 81-63 for their seventh Southern Conference win of the 2021 season.
