Redshirt (2021-22): Darby redshirted for the Bucs during the 2021-2022 season. 

Freshman (2020-21): Darby saw time in nine games for the Bucs in 2020-2021. 

High School: Darby stayed close to home to play for the Bucs after prepping at First Baptist Academy in Fort Myers where he earned three varsity letters.  Darby helped First Baptist to a District Championship, averaging 14 points, 8 rebounds, and 4 assists per game as a senior while shooting 53% from the field.  

Personal: Born May 10, 2001, he is the son of Marc & Sabra Darby.  He has a younger sister, Emma (4).
