Bio

Medical Redshirt (2021-22): Rowe got off to a hot start to his Buccaneer career with a 20 point performance on opening night agains Victory Rock and one week later put up 17 in a win over St. Petersburg, but a foot injury sidelined him before Thanksgiving and he was never able to take the floor again.  He finished the season playing in 8 games, averaging 8.1 points per game while shooting 44% from the field and 46% from distance.  

Freshman (2020-21): Rowe played in seven games alongisde former Buc Berrick JeanLouis for MAAC Champs Iona as a freshman. 

High School: Rowe prepped at Sacred Heart High School where he helped SHHS to a State Championship in 2017 and was a three time All-Conference performer.  

Personal: Born March 9, 2001, he is the son of Ardenne Allen and is the grandson of Carmen Rowe.  He has two sisters, Raven (30) and Jada (23), and two brothers, Kent (38) and Paul (30).

The Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers withstood an early barrage from the visiting Palm Beach State Panthers Tuesday night at Suncoast Credit Union Arena in Fort Myers and put together a huge second half to come away with a blowout 102-70 win, their fifth straight, to improve to 19-8 on the year.

All Smiles For Bucs in Non-Conference Finale

For the second straight night, a huge second half propelled the #25 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers to a blowout win in Suncoast Credit Union Arena on Tuesday.  Bradley Douglas scored a game high 20 and Jemal Davis was a perfect 8-8 shooting and had 16 points as FSW hammered North Florida Prep 110-46 to roll into Southern Conference play on Saturday with an 11-4 record.

#3 Chipola Stuns FSW at the Buzzer

For the final 11 minutes and 59 seconds of their Florida Juco Shootout game with the 3rd ranked Chipola Indians, it looked like the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers were going to knock Chipola from the ranks of the unbeatens.  Unfortunately for the Bucs, Chipola's JT Warren picked the most inopportune time to connect on his first three pointer of the year, swishing home a triple with 0.7 seconds remaining on the clock to beat the Bucs 70-69, bringing a heartbreaking end to FSW's seven game winning streak.

Cold Shooting Costs Bucs Game at Snow

The #2 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers suffered their second straight loss Saturday night on the road in Ephraim, Utah, shooting just 19% on 21 three point attempts and turning the ball over 22 times in a 72-66 loss to the #19 Snow Badgers to fall to 1-2 on the early season.

The Florida SouthWestern State Men’s Basketball team has high expectations for the 2022-2023 season and apparently the rest of the country agrees as the Buccaneers will start the season ranked #2 in the NJCAA Preseason National Rankings released on Monday by the National Office.
