Bucs Add Griffin Myers to Men's Basketball Staff
Florida SouthWestern Head Coach Darrin Wallace has rounded out his staff for the 2025-2026 season, adding former Trinidad State Assistant Griffin Myers to the bench for the Purple and Aqua.
FORT MYERS, Fla.- Florida SouthWestern Head Coach Darrin Wallace has rounded out his staff for the 2025-2026 season, adding former Trinidad State Assistant Griffin Myers to the bench for the Purple and Aqua.
Myers spent last season as the Assistant Coach at Trinidad State in Colorado where he helped the Trojans win the Region IX Championship and make a run to the Sweet 16 at the NJCAA National Tournament. At Trinidad Myers was in charge of team defense, scouting and special situations for the Trojans.
Prior to Trinidad State, Myers spent two seasons at Mercer as a Graduate Assistant Coach. In his time at Mercer, he served the coaching staff as the Video/Analytics Coordinator while also assisting with day-to-day program operations. Before joining Mercer in 2022, Myers spent four seasons as a student manager for the University of Wisconsin. He served as head manager his senior year.
Myers earned his bachelor's degree in business from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2022 and earned his Master's Degree in higher education from Mercer University in 2024. He is originally from Hastings, Minnesota.
