Following another strong season on the court and in the field for the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers, their accomplishments in the classroom once again matched that success as 38 Bucs were named to the NJCAA All-Academic Teams on Thursday for posting a 3.60 or better GPA for the 2023-2024 school year.

Eight Bucs Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

Following another outstanding year both in the classroom and in competition, eight Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers have earned CSC Academic All-District honors for the 2023-2024 academic year. The Bucs eight student-athletes honored were the only junior college student-athletes in the state of Florida to earn the honors.

After leading the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers to a Citrus Conference Championship and a 7th place finish at the NJCAA World Series, sophomore pitcher Lea Chevrier has been named a Third Team NJCAA All-American, marking the eighth straight season an FSW pitcher has been named an All-American.

After wrapping up their prestigious two year careers with the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers last week at the NJCAA World Series in Oxford, Alabama, FSW sophomores Lea Chevrier and Sydney McCray have been named All-Americans by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association.

A trio of Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers were named to the NFCA All-South Region Team this week as Lea Chevrier and Sydney McCray were named 1st Team selections while catcher Sietske Drijvers was tabbed a 2nd Team pick.

The #3 Florida SouthWesten State Buccaneers were one out away from moving on in the NJCAA World Series on Thursday but weren't able to close things out against the #17 Galveston Whitecaps as Galveston scored a 7th inning run to send the game to extras before walking the Bucs off in the 8th 2-1 to end FSW's hope of winning a fourth straight NJCAA National Championship.

Bucs Roar Past Lions at NJCAA World Series

The #3 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers jumped on the Wallace State Lions early and never looked back Wednesday night under the lights at the NJCAA World Series in Oxford, Alabama, scoring the game's first five runs before cruising to a 7-1 win to remain alive and advance to the round of eight.

The #3 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers remained alive at the NJCAA World Series in Alabama on Wendesday morning, blowing out #16 Chattanooga State 10-2 in their second straight elimination bracket run rule game.

Bucs Drop World Series Opener, Bounce Back With Elimination Game Shutout

If the #3 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers are going to bring their fourth straight NJCAA National Championship home this season, they are going to have to do it the hard way after dropping their 2024 World Series opener to Odessa 12-7 Tuesday in Oxford, Alabama before beginning their long road back with an 8-0 shutout win over Abraham Baldwin to wrap up their first day of action at the tournament.

After a few sleepless nights, the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers got the news they had hoped for on Tuesday as the Bucs were announced as one of four at-larges to the NJCAA Division I Softball World Series, giving FSW the ticket back to Oxford, Alabama to look for their fourth straight NJCAA National Championship.

FSW Drops Late Night Shootout to End Run In Clearwater

If the #3 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers are going to get a chance to defend their NJCAA National Championship, the ticket to do so will have to come in the form of an at-large bid from the NJCAA Softball Committee as FSW dropped a 12-11 shootout to Eastern Florida State late Friday night to be eliminated from the South Atlantic District Tournament in Clearwater.
