CHARLOTTE, N.C.- The Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers will enter the 2026 postseason ranked #1 in the country as the NJCAA released its final poll of the year with FSW on top Monday.
The Bucs head into their final regular season games of the year Tuesday riding a 24 game winning streak and at 49-5 overall on the year. Last week was an eventful one for the Bucs who clinched their 10th consecutive Conference Championship Tuesday with a sweep of Hillsborough that included a no-hitter in the circle from freshman Alexandra Solo. Saturday FSW continued to roll, sweeping #19 Seminole State on Sophomore Day at Buccaneers Park in Fort Myers to inch closer to the elusive 50 win mark on the year.
There was no change at the top of the rankings as the heavyweights continued to assert their dominance with the top nine teams from the week 10 poll remaining intact. FSW led Northwest Florida, Northeast Alabama, Temple, and Trinity Valley in the top five. There continued to be a distinct citrusy flavor to the poll as seven teams from the Citrus Conference were in the Top 25 including FSW at #1, Santa Fe at #6, Eastern Florida and Indian River back to back at #11 and #12, Miami Dade at #15, Seminole State at #20, and Daytona State at #22.
Next up for the Bucs is a matchup with the aforementioned #22 Daytona State Falcons Tuesday at Buccaneers Park in Fort Myers with first pitch scheduled for 2 PM in both teams final games of the 2026 regular season.
