11 Bucs Named All-Conference, Iamurri Coach of the Year
After running away with the 2026 Citrus Conference Championship, 11 Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers were honored by the league on Monday, earning spots on both the 1st and 2nd All-Citrus Conference Teams. Sophomore pitcher Zoe Yzaguirre earned Citrus Conference Pitcher of the Year honors while Robert Iamurri was tabbed the Conference Coach of the Year.
TALLHASSEE, Fla.- After running away with the 2026 Citrus Conference Championship, 11 Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers were honored by the league on Monday, earning spots on both the 1st and 2nd All-Citrus Conference Teams. Sophomore pitcher Zoe Yzaguirre earned Citrus Conference Pitcher of the Year honors while Robert Iamurri was tabbed the Conference Coach of the Year.
Yzaguirre led the way, earning Citrus Conference Pitcher of the Year honors, the 9th time in the past 10 seasons an FSW ace has been named the league Pitcher of the Year. Yzaguirre finished the regular season 17-2 in the circle, posting a conference best 1.12 ERA. She racked up 116 strikeouts in her 106 innings pitched, allowing just 62 hits in the process
Noelani Livingstone joined her on the 1st Team All-Conference list, finishing second in the league with an even .500 batting average while pacing the Bucs with 24 extra base hits and 57 runs scored on the year. Livingstone also played a Gold Glove center field, handling all 55 chances perfectly in the field for a 1.000 fielding percentage.
Stephanie Basso was a 1st Team pick behind the plate for the Bucs, cranking a team high 9 home runs and driving in a team best 47 runs while hitting .396 in 45 games. She enters the postseason hot, having reached base in 11 straight and 14 of the Bucs final 15 games of the regular season.
Freshman Charlotte Graham earned 1st Team honors in the circle after slicing through Citrus Conference bats like hot butter during her rookie campaign. She was 12-1 on the year while posting a 1.18 ERA which was second in the league to only teammate Zoe Yzaguirre. Her 9.86 strikeouts per seven led the conference as she dialed up 100 punchouts in 71 innings pitched on the year.
First baseman Emma-Rose Payette picked up 1st Team All-Conference honors, hitting an even .400 with 3 doubles and 17 RBIs for the Bucs during the regular season. She stepped it up a tick during conference play, hitting .419 while posting a .923 OPS in 33 contests.
A pair of two way threats rounded out the Bucs seven 1st Team selections with Lizzy Kwakernaak and Giorgiana Woods both earned top honors. Kwakernaak was 10-2 in the circle with a 1.55 ERA, dialing up 86 strikeouts in 81 innings pitched while hitting .403 with 4 doubles and a triple at the plate for the Bucs. Woods also impacted the game on both ends, allowing just 4 earned runs in 35 innings pitched, good for a 0.81 ERA while going 5-0 in the circle and also swinging the bat to the tune of a .387 average with 12 extra base hits and 32 RBIs on the year.
The Bucs also had four players earn 2nd Team All-Conference honors.
Thaima Maximiliana combined her bat and glove to earn 2nd Team honors for the Bucs. The smooth fielding shortstop made just one error over her final 18 games while also hitting .282 with 8 extra base hits and stealing 21 bases.
Speedster Kaitlyn Klismith was a 2nd Team pick, hitting .368 with 45 runs scored while going 23 of 25 in stolen base attempts as a catalyst atop the FSW lineup.
Senna Grootings earned 2nd Team honors in the outfield, reaching base at a .402 clip in 48 games for the Bucs, smacking 8 doubles and driving in 18 runs on the year.
The Bucs final selection was Bente Zwanenburg who also picked up 2nd Team honors. She hit .342 with 10 doubles and knocked in 32 for FSW while also throwing out a team high 5 would be base stealers behind the plate.
Leading them all was the 2026 Citrus Conference Coach of the Year Robert Iamurri. Iamurri led FSW to a 51-5 regular season record, earning their 10th straight Conference Championship in the process with a 37-3 mark in league play, nine full games better than any other team in the Citrus Conference. It is Iamurri's sixth straight and ninth Conference Coach of the Year award overall.
The Bucs begin their postseason quest on Wednesday when they travel to Clearwater for the FCSAA Championships. Their run will get underway at 4 PM when they take on the winner of the Gulf Coast State/Seminole State play-in game Tuesday night.
