CLEARWATER, Fla.- A state high six Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers were honored prior to the start of the FCSAA Championships in Clearwater on Tuesday as Zoe Yzaguirre, Noelani Livingstone, Lizzy Kwakernaak, Stephanie Basso, Giorgiana Woods, and Charlotte Graham were named to the 2026 All-FCSAA Team as announce by the state office.
Leading the Bucs six All-FCSAA selections was pitcher Zoe Yzaguirre who earned FCSAA Pitcher of the Year honors. Yzaguirre led the FCSAA in ERA this season at 1.12 and ranked in the top five in wins with 17 while also ranking in the top 10 in strikeouts with 116. She allowed just 62 hits in 106 innings pitched on the year with opposing hitters hitting just .164 against her. She is the sixth FSW pitcher all-time to earn FCSAA Pitcher of the Year, but the first since Belle Sardja in 2023.
Joining Yzaguirre on the 1st Team were fellow sophomores Noelani Livingstone and Lizzy Kwakernaak. Livingstone led the state with a .594 on base percentage and ranked second in batting average at an even .500 this season, ripping 24 extra base hits while also going 26 for 27 in stolen base attempts. Kwakernaak earned the honors both for her work at the plate and in the circle, hitting .403 with 26 runs scored while going 10-2 with a 1.55 ERA and 86 strikeouts in 81 innings pitched in the circle.
Three Bucs were also named to the 2nd Team All-FCSAA squad. Pitcher Charlotte Graham was the lone freshman, picking up the honors after going 12-1 with a 1.18 ERA which ranked second in the state while striking out 100 opposing hitters in 71 innings pitched, good for a 9.86 strikeouts per seven rate which was best of all FCSAA hurlers. Joining her was battery mate Stephanie Basso who ripped 13 doubles and 9 home runs on the year, putting together an .835 slugging percentage which was third best of any player in the FCSAA this season. The third 2nd Teamer was Giorgiana Woods who like Kwakernaak was a two way threat for the Bucs. She was 5-0 with a team best 0.81 ERA in 19 appearances in the circle while also swinging the bat to the tune of a .387 average with 4 homers and 32 RBIs.
The group will lead FSW to the field on Wednesday to begin their run at the FCSAA Championships in Clearwater when they take on the winner of Tuesday's play-in game Wednesday at 4 PM at Eddie Moore Complex.
