LOUISVILLE, Ky.- Fresh off their 2026 FCSAA Championship, three Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers were honored by the NFCA on Monday as Zoe Yzaguirre, Noelani Livingstone, and Stephanie Basso were named to the All-South Region Team.
Yzaguirre earned 1st Team honors after leading the FCSAA with a 1.12 ERA in 26 appearances this season. Heading into the NJCAA World Series she sits at 19-2 overall with a pair of saves while striking out 120 opposing hitters in 113 innings pitched. Her 0.83 WHIP on the year is second to only teammate Charlotte Graham in the state of Florida while she has held the opposition to just a .165 average this season. She adds NFCA All-South Region honors to an already impressive collection of accolades that includes FCSAA Pitcher of the Year, Citrus Conference Pitcher of the Year, and Most Outstanding Pitcher at the FCSAA Championships.
Livingstone joined her on the 1st Team in the outfield after hitting .507 with 25 extra base hits while accounting for 113 runs in 55 games played. She posted a nearly 1.400 OPS with 14 doubles, 6 triples, and 5 home runs, scoring 63 runs and driving in another 50 for the Bucs. She enters the World Series on a 14 game hit streak which includes 7 of her 22 multi-hit contests on the year. She has now earned 1st Team All-Citrus Conference, All-FCSAA, and NFCA All-South honors to go along with being the Most Valuable Player at the FCSAA Championships.
The third and final selection for the Bucs was Stephanie Basso who was a 2nd Team pick. Basso turned it on down the stretch for the Bucs, bumping her batting average over .400 heading into the World Series while cracking 13 doubles and a team high 11 home runs while pacing the Bucs with 52 RBIs in just 99 at bats on the year. She recorded hits in all three games during the Bucs run to the FCSAA Championship, earning All-Tournament Team honors after popping a pair of home runs and driving in four in FSW's opening round win over Seminole State.
The Bucs trio will lead them into battle at the 2026 NJCAA World Series in Oxford, Alabama starting on May 25th at Choccolocco Park. FSW will learn their tournament seed and draw on Tuesday during the NJCAA Selection Show.
