Bio

High School: Rodriguez looks to continue a good run of Puerto Rican players for the Bucs in 2020-2021, coming to Fort Myers from Morovis whre she attended ECEDAO Albergue Olimpico.  She helped her team during a perfect 94-0 record during her career and was three times named her team's MVP.  As a senior she averaged 12.5 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 5.3 assists per game, leading her squad to a National Championship.  

Personal: Born November 23, 2001, she is the daughter of Amalis Camacho and Pablo Rodriguez.

Bucs Start Slow, Finish Strong Against DME

For three quarters, it was a grind for the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers Monday night in their 2020-2021 regular season finale against DME Academy.  Thankfully the Bucs woke up in the fourth quarter, lighting the scoreboard up for 35 points to come from behind and finish off an 80-62 win to improve to 13-5 on the year.

Bucs Take Round One in North Carolina

While most spring breakers are heading to sunny Florida for their week off of school, the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers headed the other way to North Carolina to play two games in two days in the Tar Heel State.  In their first game of the trip, the Bucs took care of business, getting 16 points from A'Moni Waiters and a double-double from Tyshonne Tollie as they rolled past the Caldwell Tech Cobras 94-59 to improve to 9-4 on the year.

Kuyinu's Game Winner Lifts #9 FSW Over Miami Dade

It wasn't the prettiest thing you have ever seen, but it counted, just like the #9 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers 75-74 win over Miami Dade Wednesday night on the Sunshine State's East Coast. That best describes Teniola Kuyinu's game winning, bank shot three pointer from the right corner with 6 seconds left to lift the Bucs past the Sharks to 3-0 in Southern Conference play.

Williams Has Career Night as Bucs Win Top 25 Battle

Florida SouthWestern State freshman Patience Williams didn’t play like a freshman in her first game against a top 25 ranked opponent Saturday afternoon in Suncoast Credit Union Arena.  The Buccaneers rookie put up 31 points and pulled down 18 rebounds as #12 FSW outlasted #25 Indian River 74-72 in an instant Southern Conference classic.

Bucs Begin Ellis Era With a Win

It was a slow start for the #14 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers Wednesday night in their 2021 season opener against Hillsborough, but that should have been expected as the Bucs took the court for the first time in 316 days after the cancellation of their 2020 postseason and the two month postponement of their current campaign.  The Bucs shook off the slow start though, picking things up in the second half to come away with a 70-52 win over the Hawks, giving new Head Coach Dr. Jerald Ellis win number one on the end of the FSW bench.
