Bio
High School: Cecilia is one of six Brazilians on the Bucs roster this season, coming to FSW from Rio de Janeiro. She played for Esporte Clube Pinheiros where she led her team to Sao Paulo State Championships in 2018 and 2019.
Personal: Born February 23, 2001, she is the daughter of Nilson Barros de Pinho and Selma Martins dos Santos. She has an older brother, Daniel (23).

The #4 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers would have preferred it to come a little later in the day, but closed a record breaking 2021 season in style Saturday afternoon at the NJCAA National Tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas, defeating archrival #3 Miami Dade 3-0 to finish 5th in their second trip to the Big Dance.
It was a battle on the high seas Friday at the NJCAA National Tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas as the #4 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers took on the Buccaneers of #1 Blinn. FSW dominated the first two sets, but Blinn fought back to take the third and fourth. There was only room for one Buccaneer in the fifth though and the Purple and Aqua came out of the battle on top as FSW took it 15-10 to take the match 3-2 and advance to the tournament's fifth place match where they will take on Suncoast Conference rival Miami Dade Saturday at 3:30 EST.

The #1 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers were stunned in the FCSAA State Semifinals on Friday, dropping a five set battle to Polk State to snap an 18 game win streak and end the Bucs chances at their first State Championship.
In the matter of just three years, the Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers have gone from the new kids on the block to the undisputed top team in the Suncoast Conference as the top ranked Bucs went on the road and finished off their second consecutive undefeated conference season on Saturday, defeating Polk State 3-0 to head into the playoffs on an 18 game winning streak.
It was an emotional night in Suncoast Credit Union Arena on Tuesday, both before the #1 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers game with the Polk State Eagles and during the contest. Beforehand, the Bucs honored their eight teary eyed sophomores , who came into the game 22-0 in their careers in Suncoast Conference play, but once the ceremony was done, it was on as the Eagles gave the top ranked Bucs all they could handle, but in the end, the FSW sophs stayed unbeaten, winning a 3-0 decision to move to within one win of their second straight undefeated conference championship.

The #1 ranked Bucs officially retained their crown on Thursday, sweeping #17 Hillsborough to remain unbeaten at 14-0 in conference play to sew up the title with two games to go. The bookends were pretty for FSW on Thursday as they hammered down 17 kills in a 25-21 first set win and hit .500 with 14 kills in the third to finish the sweep off with a 25-15 victory.
