FORT MYERS, Fla.- Following a pair of All-Conference seasons on the court with the Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers, sophomore Giovanna Rocha will try her luck on the sand the next couple of seasons after signing to play Beach Volleyball at the University of South Florida.
Rocha was a mainstay on the floor for the Bucs the past two seasons, playing in 57 matches for the Purple and Aqua. She was named 2nd Team All-Conference in both seasons in Fort Myers, racking up nearly 400 kills and 250 digs while registering over 100 blocks. As a freshman she helped FSW to their third straight NJCAA National Championship and was named to the All-Tournament Team at the National Tournament.
