Freshman (2024-2025): Harris was a 1st Team All-Conference performer last season at Miami Dade where she averaged 15.0 points and 2.7 rebounds per game as a freshman. She scored in double figures 21 times and topped the 20 point mark 11 different times. Twice she terrorized St. Petersburg with 30+ point efforts, going for a then career high 32 against the Titans in December and doing it again one month later with 39 in January, hitting 9 three pointers in each contest. Her 98 made three pointers on the season were 16 more than any other player in the FCSAA last season. 

High School: Harris prepped at Hagerty High School outside of Orlando where she was a 1st Team All-Conference selection averaging 12.7 points and 4.4 assists per game while shooting 47% from the three point line.  She helped her team to back to back Final Four appearances as well as a State Runner-Up finish. 

Personal: Born December 21, 2004, she is the daughter of Angelica and Ketema Harris.

Bishop Leads Massive Comeback Win For FSW

With 11:35 left in Saturday's Citrus Conference game the Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers trailed the Eastern Florida State Titans by 18.  To that point, it just wasn't the Bucs afternoon. But, an offense rebound and putback from Chelsea Bishop began an almost unbelievable run by both Bishop and the Bucs to close out the game as FSW whittled down the Titans lead, tied the game late, and ultimately pulled off a shocking 64-62 win to punch their ticket to the 2026 postseason.

Harris Leads Bucs Past Pirates

The Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers wrapped up non-conference play in style on Saturday, getting revenge for an opening night loss to D2 #13 Chattahoochee Valley with a 63-60 win behind 23 points from Kiara Harris to improve to 7-5 on the year.

The #19 Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers made their long trip to Pensacola worth it on Friday, taking an early lead and holding it throughout in a 73-62 win over Bishop State to improve to 4-2 on the year.

The #18 Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers earned their best regular season win in program history on Saturday, knocking off the defending National Champion and #1 ranked Northwest Florida State Raiders 53-52 in front of their home crowd in a thrilling contest in Suncoast Credit Union Arena.

Turnovers Costly For Bucs in Home Opening Loss

Despite outshooting the visiting Western Wyoming Mustangs from both the field and the three point line Friday night in their home opener at Suncoast Credit Union Arena, the #18 Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers fell 61-58 after committing 26 turnovers which turned into 28 points for the Mustangs on the night.

Gordon Fuels Bucs Second Half Push For First Win

Destinie Gordon poured in 15 of her game high 23 points in the second half as the #12 Florida SouthWestern State Buccaneers got in the win column for the first time in 2025-2026 with a 76-50 victory over USC Salkehatchie in Jacksonville Saturday.
