Bio

Freshman (2025): Talarico played last season at USC Union where he hit .357 with 14 home runs and 55 RBIs as a freshman. He put together an 1.139 OPS, reaching base at a .428 clip while slugging .711 with 30 extra base hits on the year. He collected his first career hit in a win over Southwest Virginia on Opening Day and connected on his first home run one week later against Blue Claws Post Grad. He had a pair of multi home run games, the first coming in a win over USC Lancaster and the second a short time later against USC Salkehatchie. He had his first career four hit game, driving in a career high five in a win over Montreat JV. 

High School: Talarico prepped at Waccamaw High School.

Bucs Duo Named to All-FCSAA Squad

Following outstanding sophomore campaigns, a pair of Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers were named to the 2026 All-FCSAA Team Thursday night at the FCSAA Championship Banquet in Tampa as Aiden Talarico earned 1st Team All-FCSAA honors in the outfield while shortstop Nick April-Gath was a 2nd Team pick on the infield as well as being named the State’s top defensive shortstop this season.

Sharks Strike Late Twice to Sweep Bucs Friday

The #10 Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers saw their 2026 regular season come to an end in disappointing fashion Friday in Miami as the Miami Dade Sharks walked them off with a two run home run in the bottom of the 7th in a 5-4 game one win before scoring three runs in the final two innings in game two of the doubleheader to win 5-2 to take the series and send the Bucs on the road for the first round of the FCSAA Tournament for the first time in three seasons.

Tale of Two Games For Bucs on Saturday

It was a day of ups and downs for the #9 Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers on Saturday underneath rainy skies in Fort Myers. The Bucs turned things on late for a 9-3 win in game one of their doubleheader against St. Petersburg and looked like they were cruising to a sweep in game two, but a disastrous 7th inning was too much to overcome as the Titans stole the finale 7-6 to earn the Saturday split.

Bucs Finish Off Titans in Series Opener

The #9 Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers finished off their suspended game with the St. Petersburg Titans with a 9-6 victory Friday afternoon at Jack Russell Stadium in Clearwater. After getting out to an early 5-0 lead and seeing the game stopped due to weather, the Bucs made the trip back up the coast to close out the Titans to take back over first place in the Citrus Conference standings.
