Freshman (2025): Demetree transfers to FSW after spending his freshman season at UCF where he played in five games for the Knights. He went 2-5 with a double and four RBIs in those five games. 

High School: Demetree prepped at TNXL Academy where he helped the Ducks to an NAA Championship. 

Personal: Born October 5, 2004, he is the son of Robert and Jenny DEmetree. He has two brothers, Mason (16) and Hunter (19).

Sharks Strike Late Twice to Sweep Bucs Friday

The #10 Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers saw their 2026 regular season come to an end in disappointing fashion Friday in Miami as the Miami Dade Sharks walked them off with a two run home run in the bottom of the 7th in a 5-4 game one win before scoring three runs in the final two innings in game two of the doubleheader to win 5-2 to take the series and send the Bucs on the road for the first round of the FCSAA Tournament for the first time in three seasons.

Bucs Finish Off Titans in Series Opener

The #9 Florida SouthWestern Buccaneers finished off their suspended game with the St. Petersburg Titans with a 9-6 victory Friday afternoon at Jack Russell Stadium in Clearwater. After getting out to an early 5-0 lead and seeing the game stopped due to weather, the Bucs made the trip back up the coast to close out the Titans to take back over first place in the Citrus Conference standings.
